From The Editor

This year, we are trying something different. Instead of a quarterly newsletter, I will publish two issues, a summer and a winter one. This means that this is the last issue before the WINS elections.

Let me start with introducing an article from Dawid Vissarr, who is our new contributor. He wrote about the rise and fall of the humble sparrow on South African circulating coins.

The second article is from me. I received an interesting Ethiopian coin that I would like to tell you about.

Next, from our regular contributor, Quentin Christensen, who wrote about the history of the coin toss.

Then an informative piece from Tian M Kuo, who illustrated the finding forgery email discussion with pictures.

Finally, I would like to tell you about one of my favorite books, and the story behind it.

Happy collecting!
Tom Babinszki, WINS#919
