Hello everyone,
Welcome to another edition of
the Tarnished Truth.
Since our last newsletter, WINS was deeply saddened to hear that we lost a very dear and cherished member - Joe Garbarini. Joe was the very best of WINS. His generous nature, good humor, and deep knowledge are only a few of Joe's qualities that will be missed, but they are also only a few of things that will never be forgotten, either. He was the very sense of
fellowship, and though we are less without him, we are more for the time we had.
It goes without saying that this newsletter is dedicated to
Joe Garbarini - WINS #9.
It is a pleasure to announce that I was recently contacted by Ray Larson, who sent me an article, from volume I of the Tarnished Truth, that was thought to be lost. Ray located a back-up copy that had been saved to disk, and it is my pleasure to offer that article in this edition's "From the Archives". I hope you enjoy a bit of WINS history as much as I did.
The newsletter still needs you help!
I'm setting the challenge - our next newsletter is set for June, and nothing would make our next edition better than your contributions! I've never met a more knowledgeable group of people, as we have on our very own lists! So in the spirit of this newsletter, I set forward the following contest: The first member to send me a completed article for the next issue will receive one ounce of silver.
I guess that's all for me...
