A nice circulated coin. It was a period of inflation and 1,000 Kronen wouldn't buy nearly as much as it would have a few short years earlier. Shipping is $1.00.

LOT 70. UNITED KINGDOM, CROWN 1965
Nicer than normal uncirculated 1965 Churchill Crown. Better than the average unc you will normally see but still with some nicks here and there. The coin most often voted the ugliest coin in the 20th century (I disagree). Like the Maria Theresa coin, the Churchill crown is a coin every collector should own. Shipping is $1.00.

LOT 72. NETHERLANDS 5(EUROS?) 2003
A Vincent van Gough commemorative coin. This is the uncirculated coin you could get from the bank. Unfortunately the Van Gough side has a Netherlands bank employee fingerprint very very lightly visible. The other side is a image of Beatrix. Quite unusual the way they made the images. Shipping is $1.00.

LOT 73. USA, SET OF OBSOLETE CIRCULATED US COINS
A small set of obsolete circulated US coins in a suitable plastic display package. This item was given to me one year for Christmas as a stocking stuffer I think and I replaced the polished coins with honest uncleaned-unpolished circulated examples. The cent is the same however and it looks like a typical re-processed war cent. Would makes a nice little display on a desk and won't cost much at all. Shipping is $1.00.

A 1996 ten-coin set that includes the "W" Roosevelt dime and insert card, and copper tokens from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. This lot contains four uncirculated Mint sets including the 1961 set is housed in a Whitman holder, and the 1962, 1963 & 1964 sets all in the Mint envelopes with inserts. A couple of these sets are proof positive that coins can tone in the mint packs. In the 1962 set, the nickel is turning purple and gold, the half dollar has thin golden rim edges and the cent has some red toning. In the 1963 set, the half dollar has golden obv&rev design features and the dime is totally golden while the nickel has some blueish highlights. The 1961 & 1964 sets appear to be tone free.
