LOT 6. 1962 RED BOOK - 15TH EDITION
Many of you have heard us "Old Timers" tell of the prices we paid for coins in the early 1960's. While I was going through my storage I found the original Red Book that I was using to buy coins in 1962. It was fun going through it with the "only if I knew" attitude. I putting this book up for auction and hope the winner can use it for future reference. The proceeds of this lot will be donated to the WINS Treasury.

LOT 10. BARBADOS 1973 TEN DOLLAR COIN
This is the first one of these I have ever seen even though they've been around since 1973. This, very large, coin contains 1.3 oz of sterling silver. It depicts Nepture, lord of the sea, bearing the trident that is symbolic of his power. Since Barbados rose from the ocean floor it is, in every sense a child of the sea. This coin is larger than the U.S. Silver Eagle. It measures 43.5mm and is struck in a full proof.

LOT 13. GREAT BRITIAN, 1964 HALF CENT
MS-63. Here is another one of those fun items that won't cost you an arm and leg. Discontinued when Great Britian issued their decimal coinage this half cent became very popular because of the ship design. It also featured the young head of Queen Elizabeth II. It was the end of the pound, pence and shilling system that was used for over 200 years.
