LOT 58. USA, HOLED DIME
Ok someone here said they collect holed coins. Well here is a dandy. An "O" mint mark and probably an 1895 date however that cannot be verified because some love struck guy drilled a hole in it at the date and probably gave it to his best girl. She wore it with the Obverse in as you can tell by the lack of ware on the Reverse which is not consistent with the wear on the Obverse. I considered having this hole filled but if I added a date I think someone would get a tad upset. I have had fun with this coin and you can too if you are the winner of this no reserve auction.
