Greetings WINS,

It’s always a pleasure to address the group as I am privileged to do a few times each year in these newsletters. We are starting off yet another year at WINS, hope all went well last year for all in our group. I’m looking forward to hearing about your Christmas acquisitions, always a good time to add those hard to afford items to your collections.

I would like to make mention of a few items the board has been working on. Questions have been brought up many times in the past about the lack of the ability in posting images to the forum for discussion. We have passed a motion that would address this problem and should have a system set up for posting within the next four to six weeks.

We are also going to make changes to the way personal information is displayed on our auctions and auction informational site. Some concerns have been raised about posting members full names on the auctions, we have thought to remedy this by the use of WINS membership numbers, again more on this will follow on list shortly.

And finally we are working on some type of facebook page, not necessarily an interactive presence, but more a tool to get the word out concerning WINS and how to locate and join us. More on exactly how this is going to work will be posted to the lists by Brandon our Vice President who is in charge of this task and developing its information.

I see at this writing we have a few interesting topics on our talk site, always good to see others thoughts and opinions on our posts. I urge all to participate, I know we have a few members that just like to read the posts and view the pics that are posted on members sites, but we really would like to hear from you now and then.

I wish all a great 2017, look forward to hearing from you on the lists. We will continue our efforts to better WINS in any way we can, hope all stay healthy and enjoy the upcoming year.
