Hello everyone, and welcome to this issue of the Tarnished Truth. Well, summer is already here, and it's hard to believe the year is already half over. I don't know about the rest of you, but 2007 has flown past for me, so far. It's always about this time of year when I look around and wonder where all the time has gone. I sure hope that everyone has had a productive year so far, and that there has been plenty of time found for those things that matter most. Speaking of things that matter most, there have been a lot of great discussions on the talk list, lately. If you are a current member of WINS, and not a member of the either of the opt-in email lists, but would like to be, you can sign up here, any time. The lists are a great way for members to communicate, share their knowledge, and stay in touch with each other. Another club auction, #42, came to a successful close since the last newsletter in April. Our Auctioneer has a full report on that and more, in this issue of: From Behind the Green Curtain. Again, I'd like to remind everyone that the 2007 auction schedule has been posted, so if you have anything you want to submit for future club auctions, please be sure to prepare your lots and submit them as early as possible. Special congratulations go out to WINS member Robbie Jenkins. Robbie was selected for the ANA summer internship program. He shared his experience on the WINS Talk List, and provided some more interesting details for this issue of the newsletter. You can read more about it below. I'd also like to thank Dave Noble who also sent in an excellent review of the recent Central States Coin Show. This show was attended by a number of WINS members, and it sure sounded like a great time! Thanks again, Dave! I guess that's about it for me. I hope you enjoy this as well as future issues of - The Tarnished Truth.
