Hello everyone,
Last issue, I had the honor of announcing the 2009 "Coins as Art" contest. As I write this newsletter, the contest has only a few short days left for you to submit your entries for member consideration. There are some great prizes up for grabs! Be sure to get your submissions in, before it's too late. For more information, or contest rules and specifications, check the official page.
Since our last newsletter, yet another auction has come to a successful close. Not only that, but our next auction is scheduled to kick off in just a few short days. If you have anything you would like to include in the next auction, be sure to get them to JD as soon as possible. All auction lots must be received no later than Friday, May first. Our next auction, #56, is scheduled to begin on May 2nd. Several lots have already been posted, and it looks like there's going to be some nice material up for bid. For more information on that and other IT news, check out this installment of "From Behind the Green Curtain".
Don't forget to check out the Auction Want List to see what some members have posted their interest in. If you have anything you would like to add to the list, please email me, and I will include it in the next issue.
It's been a while since we've had a member article for our newsletter! Our newsletters are always that much better with your contribution. I know the fair weather months are on their way, but please consider taking some out to submit a short write up - whether it be a brief essay, a show review, or even some hobby related humor. We need your help!
I guess that's
all for me. As always, I hope you enjoy this edition of the
Tarnished Truth!
Talk to you on the lists.
