Hello everyone,
Welcome to another (belated) edition of the Tarnished Truth.
I knew it was too good to last. I've gone quite some time without any significant computer issues. So, I figure I was due. A couple weeks back, I got hold of something nasty, and I've been offline, for the most part, since. For this issue, I went old school, and took pen to paper (who knew they still made pens and paper?).
In this month's installment of the President's Corner, Ralph has provided an excellent overview of WINS site information and navigation. This is fantastic information for all new and long-time members. Unlike many other coin collecting organizations out there, WINS membership is entirely based in electronic format - from member discussions, board elections, club auctions, to… this newsletter.
Since our last newsletter, another auction (#52) has come to a successful close. Our next auction is scheduled to begin November 22nd. As always, thanks go out to JD. Though many of us may take it for granted, the auctions do not coordinate themselves.
In closing, I would like to send out a welcome word to the new members who have joined the lists over the recent months. It's always nice to see new names and hear more points of view taking place in the list discussions. So welcome aboard!
I guess that's
all for me... Talk to you on the lists.
