Hi everyone and welcome to The Tarnished Truth.

On January 19, 2006, we lost a very valuable member and friend - Steve Kaden, WINS#336, also known as Catman. A Memorial page has been developed to remember those we have lost, you can Read It HERE and it will be referenced from the "About Us" page.

In spite of list problems, there was an overwhelming response to this news. I hadn't fully realized how much of a family WINS is until I saw the many posts and emails by our club members. It truly makes me proud to be a member of such a fine group.

Steve's death has made it all too clear that we need to appreciate the friendships we have made through WINS and the various internet forums. While we may never meet these people face-to-face, their importance in our lives is not diminished. Please think about these people who have each touched our lives in their own special way and appreciate these friendships and how they enrich our lives.
