WINS Email Lists - Let's see if this sounds familiar. - We are still having a difficulties with the email lists. No surprise there, however relief is on the horizon. It has taken quite some time to locate a service that provides the kind of email lists we wanted, and equally as difficult was finding one that wouldn't "break the bank". As I write this, list setup procedures and testing are underway and if all goes well by the time the newsletter is published, the new lists will be operational. We are moving back to a DOMO server for our email lists and a few things will be different. There won't be a user control panel from which to change your own list settings. Any changes will have to go through the List Mommy. And at the moment, there isn't any digest mode either. This feature hasn't been used much in the past so I didn't have our account set up for it. Why a DOMO list? Basically, DOMO is more reliable often running on a dedicated server, and for the most part DOMO requires very little user interface other than the initial enrollment procedures and sending a post. We used a dedicated DOMO service for 4 ½ years and I don't think we had more than a few hours of down time. It will be good to get back on DOMO.New Web Site Page - I have been resisiting developing a memorial page for those members and supporters that WINS has lost over the years because I didn't want the web site to become a death watch. The shear number of requests I have received changed my mind and the memorial page can be found HERE. It will also be referenced from the "About Us" page. Auction Update - Auction 34 is scheduled March 18th through the 25th. Members may submit auction items to the auction coordinator using the format illustrated in the Auction Rules. Members may submit up to 10 hobby-related items each for this auction. St. Louis Show Report - I was hoping to have this finished before the newsletter goes to press, but I haven't received all of the images or input from the others yet. I will update this paragraph as soon as possible. Thanks for readin', "See ya' at the auction".
