Hi guys, Today is the day Iowa unveils its state quarter. I traveled down to our lofty capitol for the planned festivities. |

I was late. It had yet to start. They had a band and a place for our governor at the entry into the Hall of Fame where he was to speak.

| The place was full of dignitaries and the press. |

| After another 20 minute wait I gave up and walked down to where they would be selling the quarters by the roll. |
|
Where dispite a quarter mile line I would have been willing to wait until I found that they were not going to start sales until after the festivities were over. I gave up and came home. My one hope is that whomever planned this affair is not Iowa educated otherwise the new quarter reverse which touts education is suspect to say the least. Best Ray...... |
