Greetings,
Today I went to the Arch downtown and brought a camera - the interesting items reported on last November have now been captured...

Amongst other things in the Arch museum is an exhibit of Indian peace medallions from British kings through US Presidents, all original, as far as I can tell. This is the Thomas Jefferson medallion that inspired the first of the new nickels:

Some of these medallions were designed by Charles Barber, a.k.a the Barber coinage of the late 1800 and early 1900s. There is an animatronic Barber who talks about the medallions he designed (shown below):
