Offered is a 6-3/4"x4" mounted grouping of Arizona copper and copper ores. The base is a 3/8" thick slab of Chrysocolla from Bisbee; on the left is a processed copper splash displaying purples, yellows and greens from Globe; center back is a sample of Azurite with Malachite in a black matrix from Morenci; to the right is a large piece of "native" copper with a small piece of white matrix (and Malachite) still attached from Kearny; and to the far right is a piece of Peacock ore (Bornite) from Jerome. Also mounted near the center is a 1981 Lincoln Cent that has developed verdigris. |
